Objectives of the project
Advancements in scientific achievement affect both our everyday lives and society as a whole. Technological change has brought dynamic improvements to our living standards. Internet technology has made the provision of information and exchange of news ever more widespread and rapid. Never before have cultural studies been more accessible. Tibetan culture is a unique heritage with ancient origins. Tibetan spirituality and its unique cultural heritage are based on compassion and peace. For many, this cultural heritage provides the basic criteria for the spread of peace in the world. |

The five articles representing the sensual objects were originated from the Buddha and it is one of the many secrets offerings of the profound Tantric teachings bestowed by Buddha. And among the external offering articles are principally arranged to the seal of offering gods such as Sukdorjeema and so forth. In the rites and rituals of both classes of Tantra and sutra expounds comprehensively the qualities, dedication expressions and offering mystic charms of the five articles representing the sensual objects. |

The symbolism of eight lucky articles |

Once ago the goddess Woechangma of form realm offered a mirror to Buddha Sakyamuni, in consequence Buddha consecrated and turned the mirror to an auspicious article and goddess attained the enjoyment of the superior doctrine by manifesting the non-obscured wisdom of Buddha, which is the ultimate nature of the mental continuum of all sentient beings. Likewise by the virtue of the ‘king of elephant Sasung’ (also called Langpoche-Norkyong (elephant-herd) ) of offering a medicinal concretion from the brains of elephant to Buddha, he realized the emptiness, the best medicine to cure painful diseases and sufferings of affliction. |

 Tibetan Buddhism derives from the confluence of Buddhism and yoga which started to arrive in Tibet from India briefly around the late eighth century and then more steadily from the thirteenth century onwards. Indian Buddhism around that time had incorporated both Hindu yogic and tantric practices along with the classical teachings of the historical Buddha who lived around 500 BC. It acknowledged that there were two paths to enlightenment ( complete transcendence of identification with the personal ego ). One path was that taught in the sutras according to the historical teachings.
